CPW Research Sections
Description
Colorado is unique among state fish and wildlife agencies, as most do not have structured Research Sections. The internal research capacity that CPW possesses allows us to directly address management questions with well-designed, scientifically-defensible, investigations. The scientific credibility that comes along with having our own research programs is one of the strong suits of our agency.
Research Contributions to Everyday Fish and Wildlife Management highlights the work of CPW's research branches: Aquatics, Avian, Mammals, Wildlife Health and Human Dimensions.
Science Applications Highlights
